Meeting the highest standards for teaching Mindfulness-Based Interventions (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), the Mindfulness Institute NW Illinois offers classes and individual sessions designed and delivered with the attention to build and fortify strengths participants already have, teaching self-actualization and empowerment to improve work performance, adding clarity and focus, and awakening individuals to a deep connection and meaning, abundance and joy in life.
Our organization supports individuals and organizations to develop mindfulness, clarity, wisdom, compassion and inner sustainability through the study and practice of mindfulness in everyday living. In our Mindfulness programs participants learn to use mindfulness as a vehicle for active learning of how to face and embrace the enormity of their own life experience. Participants learn to use mindfulness practices to build-up and fortify the strengths they already have. They learn to do something for themselves that will improve their health and wellbeing, both physical and psychological.
Through our teaching and training, we are dedicated to bringing awareness to those in our community and beyond, providing training and resources on the practice and benefits of Mindfulness Meditation, while meeting the highest standards teaching the Mindfulness-Based Intervention, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Our Mindfulness Meditation Program is focused on helping to foster better health, quality of life, and balance and well-being.
The Mindfulness Institute NW Illinois is founded on the belief that mindfulness, the nonjudgmental and clear awareness of one's experience, enables one to use the wisdom of the body and mind to face stress, pain, and illness. The Mindfulness Institute is a mentor and leader in the awakening of individuals and organizations to their true potential and alignment with their highest purpose, that all may live with a deep connection and meaning. We inspire, guide, teach and connect people, ideas, wisdom and resources to help transform lives toward greater awareness.
The Mindfulness Institute emphasizes a non-sectarian approach to mindfulness that draws on contemplative practices from a variety of religious and philosophical traditions. Our inclusive and safe educational environment fosters the training.
The Mindfulness Institute supports individuals and organizations in developing mindfulness, clarity, wisdom, compassion and inner sustainability through study and practice of mindfulness in everyday living. The participant in our program is not passive recipient of support and therapeutic advice. Rather participants learn to use mindfulness as a vehicle for active learning how to face and embrace the enormity of their own life experience. Participants learn to use mindfulness practices to build-up and fortify the strengths they already have. They learn to do something for themselves that will improve their health and wellbeing, both physical and psychological.
